OUR SALON POLICIES 2025
BOOKING FEE & CANCELLATION POLICY:
A consultation is required for all new colour and extension clients to Halo Hair Collective. This is free of charge to ensure we are quoting and planning your hair appointment correctly. All new bookings are required to pay a non refundable $50 booking fee to secure their appointment, (or 50% of full booking cost for extension clients) This amount will be taken off of the total on the day of the appointment. Booking fee must be paid on the day you make your booking. You will receive your confirmation text 3 days before your appointment. If you fail to show up to your appointment or cancel with less than 48hours notice for any reason the $50 will be forfeited and a $50 cancellation fee will be payable. A new booking fee must be paid to reschedule or make a future booking. In the event that HHC need to change/reschedule your appointment, your booking fee will not be effected.
RE DO SERVICES:
If you are unhappy with your results from your visit to HHC please let us know within 7 days of your appointment. That way we can get you back in to have a look at what can be done to achieve the look you are after. We provide thorough consultations to avoid this from happening, but understand sometimes things don’t go to plan. If you have been elsewhere, or have attempted to do your hair at home in-between seeing us, we will not provide a re do service.
EXISTING CLIENTS:
All existing clients of HHC need to give no less than 48 hours to reschedule or cancel their appointment, other wise a $50 cancellation fee may be payable. In the case of an emergency please contact the team as soon as possible. You will receive your confirmation text 3 days before your appointment. CHANGING YOUR SERVICES: You will get a confirmation text 3 days before your appointment, so if you wish to change or minimise the services you have booked, please do so with no less than 48 hours notice. Failure to do so will mean HHC will charge you for what was originally booked in.

Bringing along children and other guests:
Due to our growing team and one on one style servicing, we will be asking that all clients attend their appointments solo. While we have adored meeting your little ones, we kindly ask that you find alternative care for them on the day of your appointment with the exception of new borns (under 12 months) who we know may need to stay with you during this time. We also ask that other family members, friends and partners do not join you during your appointments as our seats are extremely limited and reserved for clients only. Client experience is our number one priority. We want to give our clients 100% attention to make sure you walk out feeling confident and happy with your hair.
CLIENT RELEASE
I have had the process and possible outcomes of my service explained to me, and I have been given the opportunity to ask questions & make requests. I understand that chemical treatments have different effects on different hair colours and skin types. I agree to hold the salon/stylists harmless in the event of unexpected or undesired results. If you are unhappy with your hair cut/colour, Halo Hair Collective will provide a correction service within one week of your original appointment. If you have been elsewhere within this week then we will not redo your service free of charge. We do not refund services, vouchers or product purchased. I understand that previous hair services can altar the outcome of my service today, & I have fully disclosed my previous treatments to my stylist, including home hair care used. I understand that chemicals can effect jewellery, and have taken the opportunity to remove jewellery to avoid any potential damage. I understand that my stylist is a certified technician who will do his or her best to achieve and create my desired results. I have been clear and informative to my stylist to assist with my hair goals. I understand that "colour correction" services (ie: dark colour build up and trying to go blonde, removing red/copper from hair etc) may take multiple appointments that are spaced out appropriately to keep my hair in its best condition. I understand that my desired result may not happen in one appointment.
SOCIAL MEDIA RELEASE
I authorize and grant Halo Hair Collective permission to take my photos /videos for marketing & educational purposes. I grant Halo Hair Collective permission to use my photos on Facebook, Salon Website, Instagram, and other social media platforms. I allow Halo Hair Collective to edit,copy, or distribute the photos for social media advertising and marketing. I agree that the photos belong to Halo Hair Collective & I understand that I will not receive any monetary compensation.
